DANVILLE – Sen. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-27) will host a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Event on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Danville Middle School, 252 Northumberland Street, Danville.
The event will feature interactive exhibits and hands-on activities designed to encourage students to explore science and technology in fun and engaging ways. Students ages 6 through 12 are invited to attend with their families to participate in demonstrations led by local educators, organizations, and businesses.
Exhibitors include the Pennsylvania Game Commission, Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit, Bloomsburg Children’s Museum, DegenSTEAM Academy, Vytal Plant Science Research (STEM Mobile Bus Unit), and other regional partners.
“This event is a wonderful opportunity for students and families to see how science and technology connect to real-world careers,” Culver said. “By giving children the chance to experience STEM learning up close, we can help spark curiosity and prepare them for the opportunities of the future.”
The event is free and open to the public. Children must be accompanied by an adult and while not required, you can pre-register here. For additional information, visit SenatorCulver.com or call 570-743-1918.
