Senate Bill 922 (Martin) – Amends the Act of January 28, 1988 (P.L.24, No.11), known as the Private Academic Schools Act, permitting license applications and conditional approval of initial
licensure under certain conditions and provides for emergency, long-term and day-to-day substitute permitting of teachers and staff at private academic schools.

Senate Bill 927 (Pennycuick) – Amends the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, requiring student wellness checks by cyber charter schools.

Senate Bill 934 (Pennycuick) – Amends the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, requiring proof of residency for cyber charter students twice per
year.

House Bill 17 (Watro) – Amends the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, requiring instruction in cursive handwriting.

House Bill 538 (Leadbeter) – Amends the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, adding human trafficking to existing education programs required
at institutions of higher education and private licensed schools.

Pilot Program permanent.

House Bill 1627 (Kazeem) – Amends the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, making the Cosmetology Training through Career and Technical
Center Pilot Program permanent
