HARRISBURG – Senator Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-27) and Representative David Rowe (R-85) today announced that Kreamer Feed has been awarded $2.5 million through the Commonwealth’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) to support expansion of the company’s facilities.
The project includes comprehensive site preparation, grading, utility upgrades, stormwater improvements, construction of foundations and a new steel superstructure, installation of truck docks, and electrical, mechanical and plumbing infrastructure to accommodate future growth.
“Agriculture remains Pennsylvania’s top industry, and investments in businesses like Kreamer Feed support the farmers, employees and communities that rely on a strong agricultural economy,” said Culver. “This project positions the company for continued growth while creating new opportunities throughout the region.”
“The 85th District and the Commonwealth are built on a proud tradition of family farming that deserves to be honored and celebrated,” said Rowe. “This grant will help Kreamer Feed modernize its operations, create new jobs for Snyder County families, and support the agricultural backbone of central Pennsylvania. I appreciated the opportunity to advocate for this funding and look forward to seeing its impact in our community.”
The Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program provides grants for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic and historical improvement projects that support job creation and economic growth throughout Pennsylvania.
