SHAMOKIN – Senator Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-27) will host a Senior Technology Workshop on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 1-3 p.m. at the Shamokin and Coal Township Public Library, 210 E. Independence St., Shamokin.
The free workshop will provide smartphone and tablet help for seniors who would like assistance using their devices, asking technology-related questions, or becoming more comfortable with everyday digital tools.
“Technology can be a valuable tool for staying connected with family, accessing important information, and handling day-to-day tasks, but it can also be frustrating when something does not work the way it should,” Culver said. “This workshop is intended to provide practical, hands-on help in a welcoming setting for seniors who want to learn more about their phones or tablets.”
The event is hosted by Culver and the Shamokin and Coal Township Public Library. Participants are encouraged to bring their phone, tablet, or both to the workshop.
Registration is encouraged. Residents may register by calling 570-339-5937.
