Agenda

Senate Bill 375 (Brown) – Amends the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the
Public School Code of 1949, providing funding, discounts and donations for AED devices and
training, requiring AEDs in school buildings and athletic fields for school entities and nonpublic
schools participating in interscholastic sports and related training, certification and instruction
in the use of CPR and AEDs.

Senate Bill 432 (Pennycuick) – Amends the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the
Public School Code of 1949, to provide eligible nonresident students with a fostering
independence waiver for undergraduate courses beginning with the fall 2025 semester.

Senate Bill 733 (Hughes) – Amends the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the
Public School Code of 1949, permitting a student to elect not to participate in financial aid
counseling and removes the requirement for an institution of higher education to provide
financial aid counseling to certain students if their loans do not require repayment.

Senate Bill 838 (Culver) – Amends the act of December 15, 1986 (P.L.1585, No.174), known as
the Private Licensed Schools Act, excluding schools or providers approved by the State Real
Estate Commission or the State Board of Certified Real Estate Appraisers from the Act.

Senate Resolution 119 (Brooks) – A resolution from the Senate of the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania urging the United States (U.S.) Congress, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, and U.S.
Secretary of Health and Human Services to update federal laws and standards relating to the
availability of milk in Pennsylvania schools.
