
HARRISBURG – Sen. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-27) announced the approval of a $100,000 state grant to support improvements to Market Street in Bloomsburg Town Borough, Columbia County.
The grant was approved today by the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) through its Multimodal Transportation Fund (MTF) program, which provides funding for projects that enhance transportation and community revitalization.
“This Multimodal Transportation Fund grant will enable Bloomsburg to move forward with important improvements to Market Street, a vital corridor in the heart of town,” said Culver. “Prioritizing this project ensures safer and more accessible travel for everyone; and is a key investment in the well-being of Bloomsburg.”
Grant recipient includes:
- Bloomsburg Town Borough will receive $100,000 for Market Street improvements located in Bloomsburg Town Borough, Columbia County.
The Multimodal Transportation Fund is administered by the Commonwealth Financing Authority, an independent agency of the Department of Community and Economic Development. Established through Act 89, the MTF program supports projects that modernize transportation infrastructure and improve the quality of life across Pennsylvania communities.
