HARRISBURG – A Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grant totaling $500,000 has been awarded in Northumberland County according to Sen. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-27) and Rep. JoAnne Stehr (R-107).
“I am happy to see state dollars coming to a local business in Northumberland County,” said Culver. “This funding will enable Clark’s Feed Mill to make essentials upgrades to expand their production which might have otherwise been unattainable.”
Clark’s Feed Mill was awarded $500,000 to construct a new feed mill to increase production capacity in Ralpho Township.
“I am excited to hear that this grant funding will be allocated to benefit the 107th District,” said Stehr. “This funding will facilitate the construction of a new, much-needed mill next to Clark’s Feed Mill. I am pleased that this grant will support a valued local business and increase production capacity to better serve our community. In my role as a state legislator, I am always working to secure the necessary funding for our area, and I appreciate everyone’s support in helping us obtain these grants.”
RACP is administered by the Office of the Budget for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects. RACP projects are authorized in the Redevelopment Assistance section of a Capital Budget Itemization Act. They must have a regional or multi-jurisdictional impact and generate substantial increases or maintain current levels of employment, tax revenues, or other measures of economic activity.
