HERNDON – To provide continued convenient access to state services for district residents, Sen. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-27) on Tuesday, Dec. 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. will offer office hours at Herndon Adult Community Center, 5089 Route 147, Herndon.
Culver will be hosting the office hours on the second Tuesday of each month at Herndon Adult Community Center.
“I know people lead busy lives and can’t always make it to one of our district offices, so I try to bring district office services closer to them,” Culver said. “I appreciate the wonderful people at Herndon Adult Community Center working with us to deliver this important service to the community.”
Culver will provide the same services at the Herndon Adult Community Center that are available at her other offices, including assistance with Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program applications, unemployment compensation claims and PennDOT paperwork. Staff also will offer complimentary notary services, provide information about state legislation and make referrals to agencies to resolve state-related matters.
Residents should call the Shamokin Dam District Office at 570-743-1918 to reserve time with staff during the Herndon outreach hours.
